AGB-BV-001 Trunnion Mounted Ball Valve — Series BV

Product Description

AGB's Trunnion Mounted Ball Valves (Series BV) are specifically engineered for the most demanding isolation services in the energy industry. The side-entry, three-piece split body design allows in-line maintenance without removing the valve from the pipeline, reducing downtime and total cost of ownership.

The trunnion support of the ball transfers pipeline loads directly to the valve body rather than the seats, enabling significantly lower operating torques and dramatically reduced seat wear — extending service life well beyond conventional floating ball designs. Spring-loaded seats maintain a positive seal at all pressures, including low-pressure conditions where seat contact force would otherwise be insufficient.

Available in full-bore and reduced-bore configurations, the BV series accommodates pigging operations and meets the most stringent fugitive emission requirements per ISO 15848-1 Class B. All valves are factory-tested to API 598 before shipment.

Check

Double Block & Bleed

Simultaneous isolation of upstream and downstream pressures with cavity bleed capability.

Check

Anti-Static Design

Spring-loaded plunger ensures electrical continuity between ball, stem, and body.

Check

Emergency Sealant Injection

Standard fittings for stem and seat emergency sealant injection to prevent leaks.

Check

Blow-out Proof Stem

T-type stem design prevents stem ejection under internal pressure per API 6D.
